There is a fantastic article in today’s New York Times (reprinted here) about growing environmentalism in the christian religous community.

These church leaders, scientists, writers and heads of international aid agencies argue that global warming is an urgent threat, a cause of poverty and a Christian issue because the Bible mandates stewardship of God’s creation.

It’s a great example of communicating an important issue in another language to a community that has been long ignored by the traditional “left”. It should also be of great interest to business as more and more of the world’s consumer base grows concerned about the health of the planet.
