What is wrong with this guy that he tells everyone else what to do and who should give. No, it’s not about charity anymore. Someone may find out it is really everyone else’s charity. Now its just a bully with a bunch of bucks.

Meanwhile he throws out a charity that helped children, adults, blind juniors etc for free so he can build a dozen houses in Malibu on the property. Didn’t even bother to talk to the charity. Meanwhile, a year and a half later, the hilltops are bulldozed, the land sits unused instead of letting the blind kids use 1/10th of the area. Environmental groups filed suit and Feds temp shut the hillside rape down.

Blessed it be!!! thank you Bono for once again giving the human driven spirit the right to reflex our potential. The church, state and mine of all of us have forgeoot’n we have the potenial to flourish and provide and yes with sometimes bathed breath we’ve loved when we were lost and found the man. On the moon, on the sky, on the Chance of our inventive minds can we unfold our creative pockets of potential. I am in struggle like most now mixede amoung the worlds, simple and yet bold like a dreamer cathcing a wave on a star. I’ve acually written you once long ago. ANd have been a fan for a decade! I stood breathless among you as pride was in the the of love. And you have been the truth ever still. thank you. I am finger tips to a key board and i am light to a thought and poetry comes of heart when i can really hear you. we are so great if we make it, everything we can see we can take it but even still “make it” sounds much better, Broken hearts will endure and laugh again amung love and among friends. and when we awake in the morning we always have what we’ll make of our day…..

This is a great piece. Beware of people trying to pull political meaning out of what this man says. Anybody who talks about Bono being a lefty is really not listening. He is so far above the political clash of the left and right that those involved in that (tree huggers or drug abusing Nazi’s on the radio) can’t even comprehend what he’s doing.

Fantastic piece that really highlights Bono’s skills and stratgic vehicles – isn’t it so much more refreshing writing about someone using their ‘power’ for good not evil!
Maybe he’s a Jedi?
