I am urgently looking for a design of the wind- mill as on the photo at the top of your article
I am trying to start a community project here in Mozambique using these types of windmills
I would appreciate very much if you could guide me in the right direction

Hi Pablo,
You know, I’m here in Qala-i-Now PRT, Badghis. Afghanistan, working as Agriculture Coordinator for AECID, Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development. we’re assessing the feasibily of installing windmills for water pumping. Our work is community based and are now doing Pistachio reforestation and need some water to iirigate the little trees during 2-3 years. These communities also raise cattle and need water. Not to mention for human consumption, which is also a big need. Please give some advise if possible in order to follow up these appraisal.

Pablo,
Where is the village and how did you get the 7 m/s average?
I’m a US National Guardsman in Afghanistan and a civilian windpower engineer. We’re working on some wind projects there, but I have no wind data.
