I agree with some of these points, but overall, Peter Opa makes a specious, and over-generalized, argument. Tree-hugging pagans? New age worshippers of Satan? Where are you getting this information?
In making a strong argument, begin with facts, rather than an attack. Otherwise, you are no better than the ideology you are attempting to refute.

Children Quest is a non profit organization that has started a nation wide campaign to provide to low and fixed income families Compact Flourescent Lights (CFL) free of charge. CFLs will save them money on their electric bill and will reduce greenhouse emissions from coal fired electric plants. We would like to work with Church and Clergy for fundraising events. There is agreement between those that want every American to have a born again experiance and Americans who hate paying tax. Republicans will eliminate every tax funded safety net. Tax is only for Police, Jail and the Miltary. The government will not compete with Jesus who gets exclusive market rights for capturing people when they are most vunerable, what ever personal crisis that is. It is tax for taithes.

You don’t suppose there was an “I’ll scratch your back and if you scratch mine” agreement between the Christian Right and Republican Party? My hunch is the attacks are not based on analysis, but instead on this simple tit for tat. The payback is in appointments to Supreme Court, etc.
