I'm always disappointed when people post things like you just posted. I won't deny that there are doubts as to our ability to have any real control over the climate and what our emissions and other pollutants have done to it. I also will not deny that there are impacts to "business as usual" as well as to industry that would take place should we (or the Government) take a pro-active stance.
But it is utter hogwash to say that "going green" has anything to do with some kind of socialist plot. It is actually quite the opposite. The main reason that industry is so slow to change, is that the government has been subsidizing fossil fuels and other inefficiencies for over 50 years.
Getting rid of those government subsidies and making industry responsible for the externalities of their various pollutants (I'm not just talking CO2 here) - actually letting the market decide - would result in a far cleaner environment and nothing even close to the socialist plot your link suggests. I don't know if "global warming" is the big issue - but we have made a mess of things and to deny that is complete idiocy.

Dr. Coles….
