Louisiana is leading the way. With 80% taxcredits in Louisiana on Solar we’re leading the Country in supporting solar power. As of Jan 2009 I will be 100% solar powered on my house at a cost to me of $15,000.00. In 5 years it will have paid for itself and I’ll still have an estimated 25 years of virtually free electricity. I also hope to generate enough to charge electric cars when they arrive. Wind is coming but Solar in Louisiana is now. Go Boone.

The proposed energy policy by Mr Obama will include share of renewable energy technology. The battety electric cars is a good idea to save the globe from pollution.

corky – I suggest thinking a little harder. Energy costs are going through the roof no matter what. The difference is, what can we do to prepare people for it? With simple efficiency we could all be using half what we currently use, that means the price could DOUBLE and we’d be in the same boat. If we just keep burning coal and drilling then when the *&#*$ hits the fan, we’ll be really screwed.
