		<description>If policy-makers that aren&#039;t on Exxon&#039;s payroll come clean, they&#039;d have to admit that renewable energy in general, and solar in particular are going to be the inevitable mainstays of tomorrows energy economy. Denying it is to deny the sun will rise. It does rise, though, and harnessing it&#039;s energy to help local communities also is an inevitability. I like this article - &quot;Alternative Energy - The Importance of Community Projects&quot;, and insist that it doesn&#039;t take engineers or IP ownership to drive a successful alternative energy project, especially one that can help local communities. It takes a thinker. Someone who can flip the model and think, hmmm, how can we do this for free for an inner-city housing development, for example. This dormant potential, as referred to in the article, awaits those creative enough to expose it.
