They will lie to you to your face. Because that, and profit sharing, is how they gained control of these organizations.

Puh-leez! These clowns are trying to "scare" the price of oil back up from its currently low price. They scream "peak oil" from the mountain tops, all while flying around on their private jets, heating and cooling their mansions and driving their 5 mpg cars. When will journalists learn that you cannot believe EVERYTHING a representative tells you about their own industry.

There is an old adage..."When they (the oil companies) figure out how to meter the sun, we will have viable solar power." Now that there is potentially big money in the game, of course the oil companies want in. Of course, they will charge the average American MORE per BTU than the current cost of natural gas, coal, or oil couching it in the guise of "development costs"...which, of course, you will have already paid for through your taxes. Lucky you! You will get to pay for it twice.

Great so now the same people who have ripped us of blind will now continue to control energy. We dont just need new kinds of energy, we need a new energy system that doesnt make the few wealthy by everyone else paying for it. Why cant money be invested into homes that are totally of the grid and energy self sufficient, and dont tell me thats to exspensive, that is a lie created by people who want to make lots of money by selling you power. Wind turbines for homes should be as cheap as buying a big screen TV by now, they are only a propeller and generator for god sake, nothing high tech about that, the technology has been around for a hundred years, just like the electric car, but they are also leading us to believe that electric cars are cutting edge technology, that is complete garbage, look it up, they where building electric cars right from the start!!!!
