We need massive Solar installations in the Desert regions of America, and at last peek, they are growing like bad weeds! Wind Turbines pop up daily too! So now where are the battery vehicles to ballast all this intermittent power? In BYD cars in Shanghai waiting for bureaucratic red tape to untangle! That's where! And in Chevrons patent file, and in the dumps with the EV-1 and on drawing boards at GM(American) used as a chess piece to rob the government and the people under the name "Volt"! plug-in hybrids will shortly take up some of this slack, and asd oil rises in price, and it does, daily, we will turn to the new, oil reduced and oil free technologies, completely bypassing the "Ethanol" fiasco, and the adulteration of gasoline, making it a less efficient fuel! UPS may soon see depleted Uranium batteries as the end all answer to heavy transport in America, if only the U.S. Navy labs would either Shiite or get off the pot and let the corperate sector develop the value there, and give us the "Super Batteries" they suggested in their "leak" to the web! The next big thing may be light-weight Capacitive discharge systems, absorbing and releasing huge currents for acceleration and deceleration, and Ford has a hydraulic analogy to the same end, in the works! OPEC! please, keep the price of oil rising! The advances being made in America in this respect are a refreshing change from the stagnant "Status Quo" and may generate riches, never to displace yours, but certainly to restore confidence in American hearts!

UPS may just help win the fight against foreign oil after all! They said it was just a test program to see if it saved the company any money. They interviewed one delivery guy who said he loved it for the exercise! That is commitment.

Hey Tom, did I ever tell you that when I was in Hawaii last Christmas, there was a bit on the nightly news about how UPS was sending out delivery guys with bikes and little bike trailers to deliver all the presents?!<br
