I envision a day when even homeowners in the northeast will primarily rely on solar power. This will help to make our planet even greener.

As Chief Engineer of the largest Platinum LEED office building in NYC (Bank of America Tower-1111 6th Ave), I’d like to chime in and say that any progress in the solar industry is welcome. Have we ever seen such a huge interest in solar energy in our history? 25,000 people showing up to this event is outstanding. But far more important than that is the massive spike in solar being purchased by the utility companies. From 7% to 13% in a single year, that is huge.
Perhaps even more interesting is the new solar city in Abu Dhabi. A 100% carbon neutral city of 40,000 with some of the most incredible ideas you have ever seen.
Do a search for Masdar, UAE. Their website is outstanding.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment.<br
