Social media websites, like Linkedin have renewable energy groups for networking and educational purporses.It is also helpful to strengthen skills that are useful in such positions. Familiarity with GIS software or planning tools, such as Windfarmer are useful. I also recommend having your pulse on industry by staying current on developments.
