On the Ground at Autodesk University

Autodesk University gets underway in Las VegasInterested in attending Autodesk University? See below for information on access codes for a Virtual Premier Pass to the conference.

I arrived to a cold, dry, and colorful Las Vegas strip late Sunday to attend the annual global meeting known as Autodesk University. The irony of my invitation to explore the important work Autodesk does for creating a sustainable built environment is not lost in this town known for its excess and “secrets” that remain within the confines of the strip.

The point at Autodesk University is not to leave secrets, however, but to spread the word on what Autodesk calls The Power of the Possible.

My focus at the event is with the AEC division of Autodesk (Architecture, Engineering, Construction), but Autodesk has a wide range  tools and programs promoting sustainable design throughout the built environment, as my recent article on sustainable water resource management demonstrates. More on that to follow, but now what you’ve all been waiting for:

Attend Autodesk University online

I have four Premier Virtual Passes available for the conference, which lasts through Thursday. Leave a comment to this post expressing interest and we will choose at random four lucky folks to receive a code enabling participation in the conference from the comfort of your own home or office. Make sure to sign into 3P with your email address so I can respond privately with your code. Leave a comment now and let us know your interest! The sooner we hear of your interest, the more access you’ll have for the event.

I am finishing up my MBA in a couple of weeks, and have had info interviews with a couple of folks at AutoDesk. I would love to attend the University! :)

Sounds like the cutting edge of learning. As an educator I would relish the opportunity to learn more! Train the trainer!

I recently earned a Sustainable MBA from BGI and two of my friends are speakers at the conference. I would LOVE to be able to hear them speak. Just could not afford to get to Vegas.

    Thanks.
