Carbon management is the process of tracking and, ideally, reducing your company’s greenhouse gas footprint.

Carbon accounting is the process of attempting to tally up a company’s entire CO2 emissions and understanding all sources of carbon. Carbon management takes this accounting process one step further by attempting to manage emissions and propose ways to either reduce them or offset them by investing in carbon negative projects elsewhere.
