The MBA and Sustainability

What is a "green" MBA?

Traditional MBA degrees focus heavily on financial results – the traditional bottom line.

Today, with a growing awareness of the “triple bottom line” and sustainability thinking, MBA programs are incorporating social and environmental management into their curriculums. Most MBA programs at least offer electives that touch on sustainability. Some other schools specialize in curriculums in which every course is imbued with sustainability as a core component.

Regardless of the focus of your school, this page should offer a deeper dive on issues of sustainability that are specifically relevant to the MBA student, or prospective MBA student.
