Unsavory Interpretations of the Term Organic

Much like the term “100% recycled“, the term “Organic” can be stretched to include things the public might not really think of as organic. Watchdog group Cornucopia is on the trail of Horizon Dairy and discovers that their organic farm is operating more like a factory.
What tempts a company to abuse the public’s perception? Though the organic label offers a healthy profit margin, a company must be careful of the public’s trust.
