Virginia Tech Series 2014

Sustainability requires more than technical solutions–it requires leadership. Sustainability professionals must work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and cross-sector partnerships to lead change within and beyond the boundaries of their organizations, communities, and networks.

This blog series, written by graduate students and faculty at Virginia Tech’s Center for Leadership in Global Sustainability (CLiGS), focuses on lessons learned about the leadership and innovation strategies that business, government, and civil society stakeholders are using to influence important environmental and natural resource systems, including water, food, climate, energy, and biodiversity. CLiGS offers integrated graduate education, professional development, and research and consulting services to improve the leadership practices of sustainability professionals and their organizations.
