We’re excited to be launching a new collaboration with CSRWire to produce moderated stakeholder Twitter chats for companies.
If you’ve never participated in a Twitter chat before, now is a great chance to give it a try. We’re particularly excited to announce Walmart as the subject of our first chat which will take place next Monday (November 12) at 5:00pm EST.
The live Twitter chat will focus on Walmart’s accomplishments over the past year, key metrics, and how the company will continue to lead positive change internally with employees, and externally with its suppliers, customers and regulators.
The chat will be led by Brooke Buchanan, Director, Communications & Sustainability at Walmart, and will include other Walmart associates. CSRwire’s Editorial Director, Aman Singh, and myself will help facilitate the chat, providing an opportunity for journalists, bloggers, industry analysts and other interested parties to get an in-depth look at Walmart’s sustainability strategy.
How does it work?
It’s pretty simple – log into Twitter at 5pm Eastern on Monday and search for the hash tag “#WMTcsr”. You can either sit back and read along, or add your two cents to any question or response. We’ll post some more detailed instructions for beginners on request. Finally, if you miss it, don’t worry, we’ll have a full synopsis on 3p the next day.
