The DTEK energy company has been named the most transparent company in the Ukraine in the country’s first Transparency & Accountability Index, though it was admitted that firms in the country “are not enough transparent for society” (sic). Conducted by the Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility Development, the research candidly “hope[s] that next year the results of companies’ transparency will be better”, but highlighted DTEK, iron ore producer Metinvest and the Obolon brewery as the best performers in the area.
