Erik Mather dies

The Australian ethical investment pioneer Erik Mather has died at the age of 45. He made a name for himself over the past ten years with the establishment of the BT Governance Advisory Service, eventually to become the governance research firm Regnan. Mather is considered to have been a key driver for the growth of responsible investment in Australia. He is survived by his wife Linda and two children.
