Abu Dhabi airline Etihad Airways has become a member of the UK-based Business in the Community (Bitc) organization.
Anne Tullis, Etihad’s head of CSR and sustainability, said: ‘We will launch a new programme this quarter which integrates the many existing CSR initiatives and activities already in place.
‘We believe that access to the resources and expertise available through Bitc and [its] more established companies and markets will help us fill in the gaps and make sure we’re implementing best practice on our sustainability journey.’
