Ex-ISS employees set up new consultancy

By 3p Contributor

A new Australian governance consultancy has been launched by former employees of Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) Governance. Ownership Matters, headed by Dean Paatsch and with an eight-strong group of advisors, will seek to help firms “safeguard and enhance their ownership rights”. The new company claims to be “independent and Australian-focused” – a nod to the fact that the US-based MSCI acquired ISS Governance last year in the continuing global consolidation of CSR research and consultancy firms.
