Kleenex has become the first paper tissue brand to achieve Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification in the US. The facial tissue, owned by paper and pulp giant Kimberley-Clark, now sports FSC labelling confirming its fibre is sourced from suppliers implementing conservational forestry management. The group’s Scott brand products have also been certified. The company said the tissues would retain their ‘softness, strength and performance’.
