By 3p Contributor

Kraft Foods, Pfizer, UnitedHealth and Grainger have received the top honours at the US Chamber of Commerce’s Corporate Citizenship Awards. With the focus of this year’s winners on health and wellbeing, Kraft was awarded the ‘best corporate stewardship’ award for its overall focus on sustainability and health. Pfizer won the ‘best international ambassador’ category for its global work fighting neglected non-communicable diseases, while UnitedHealth was deemed the ‘best US business neighbour’ in recognition of its deployment of ‘vast resources’ to tackle diabetes. Grainger won the partnership award following its work with the American Red Cross on disaster preparation.
