Nelson digs deep for Newmont Mining board

Jane Nelson, the founding director the Harvard Kennedy School’s CSR Initiative, has been appointed to the Newmont Mining board of directors. Once of the United Nations Global Compact, Nelson is one of two additions to Newport’s original board of ten. The company says she has been appointed specifically for her “exceptional background in corporate social responsibility”.
