Google donates $4.5m to Indian NGOs

Google has donated $4.5m to five Indian NGOs in their ‘Bandhua 1947’ campaign, designed to pressure the Indian government to enforce the Bonded Labour System Abolition Act 1976. Google’s donation is part of its engagement with trafficking and workers’ rights issues.
