KFC targeted by Greenpeace protesters

By 3p Contributor

KFC is facing an increasing number of Greenpeace protests worldwide. Greenpeace activists dressed as orang-utans to protest at stores in Delhi and Calcutta against the use of pulp from rainforests in its packaging. In the Netherlands, protesters have highlighted the plight of the Sumatran tiger at 29 KFC locations. In Spain, protestors claimed the sourcing of KFC’s packaging endangers exotic birds and tigers. Similar protests have been mounted in Toronto and Bangkok with more planned in other countries this summer.
