On-site solutions provider Sodexo has enhanced its membership of Sedex, the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange, to improve supply chain transparency and ensure its ethical and sustainable standards are being met. Sedex is a supply chain management tool, which helps companies to identify, manage and mitigate ethical risks in global supply chains. It enables members, using a secure online platform, to share and manage information about their business practice in four key areas: labour standards, health and safety, the environment and business ethics.
The company says the change will improve transparency throughout its supply chain, effectively monitor standards at supplier sites and help drive improvements.
