Polman in pole position at WBCSD

By 3p Contributor

The member companies of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) have unanimously approved significant changes to the organization’s governance and supervisory body.

Paul Polman, ceo of Unilever, has been appointed as new chairman of the council and its supervising body, the executive committee.

Polman, with his recognized leadership in sustainability, will be a driving force in the WBCSD’s mission of being a ceo-led organization of forward-thinking companies that galvanizes the global business community to create a sustainable future for business, society and the environment.
