Social impact portal… The Social Hotspots Database is a new web portal for use by corporate directors, investors, product designers, supply chain managers and policymakers to help supply chain stakeholders improve their management of social responsibility issues.
Interactive and visual, the portal offers transparent information about social risks and opportunities in 227 countries and 57 sectors. The result of 4 years of research and development, the SHDB draws upon hundreds of data sources from sources such as the International Labour Organisation, the World Health Organisation, the US Department of Labour and State and the World Bank.
