UK tech companies awarded Clean and Cool Mission to Brazil places

By 3p Contributor

A select group of innovative UK technology companies have been awarded places on the Clean and Cool Mission to Brazil to explore business opportunities aimed at tacking climate change and improving resource efficiency. Entrepreneurs from 17 British companies will participate in the week-long mission, organised by The Technology Strategy Board, together with The Long Run Venture and UK Trade and Investment. Among the delegation will be businesses whose solutions address some of the greatest challenges facing Brazil, from combating deforestation and providing clean, safe water in remote regions through to cutting pollution and traffic congestion in towns and cities.
