In April, I got to know Shaw Industries, one of the world's largest manufacturers of carpet and other flooring products. I spoke with VP of Sustainability Paul Murray to learn a little about what Shaw has accomplished.
Last week I got into the details with Shaw's Corporate Director of Sustainability, David Wilkerson. Shaw is seeking to certify all their products as cradle to cradle - something the company has been working on for over 15 years. Today, on the commercial side of the business almost all (92 percent) of the company's products are Cradle to Cradle Certified at the silver level or beyond.
