Atmos Consulting has added to its multi-disciplinary team of experienced consultants by appointing Jenny Bell as Principal Ornithologist.
With almost 20 years of ecological experience, Bell has worked for both a government research agency, where she predominantly advised on bird management issues (particularly on airports and landfills), and in the private sector with AMEC. She will now head up Atmos’ ornithology team from the company’s Edinburgh office and lead on technical direction and quality assurance.
Bell has worked on a wide range of projects during her career, including road schemes, new nuclear, hydro, housing and commercial developments. Most recently she worked on overhead transmission line projects, namely those between Beauly/Denny and Beauly/Dounreay, as well as a plethora of wind farms.
