Cenex, the UK’s first Centre of Excellence for low carbon technologies, has been approved as an Affiliate Partner for the Climate Knowledge Innovation Community (KIC).
As its partner, Cenex will use its industry experience and help enable Climate-KIC to transform innovative ideas into new products, services and jobs.??
As Europe’s largest public-private innovation partnership, Climate-KIC works together to address the challenge of climate change by driving innovation through creative partnerships.
As part of the partnership, Cenex has already participated in a European wide bio-economy programme and is hosting a Climate KIC pioneer.
The centre for excellence will also be supporting the Climate-KIC’s outreach work into Ireland; in particular on the low carbon mobility theme.
