Company values drive success for UK’s Best Workplaces

By 3p Contributor

This year’s record number of Best Workplaces attribute their business success to their organisational values. They say their values help build the culture essential for driving individual and organisational performance.

One hundred organisations have been officially recognised as Best Workplaces for 2014. These organisations have gone through a rigourous process which measures the level of trust and engagement in their workplace and audits their HR and management practices. Organisations are evaluated according to their size: Small (20-49 employees); Medium (50-499 employees) and Large (500+).

Topping the small category this year is IT Management Consultancy DMW, taking the No. 1 spot in their first year of participation in the Best Workplaces Programme. Another newcomer, One Vision Housing tops the Medium category. Heading the Large category is Capital One, whose key value of trust they say is largely responsible for creating the successful business Capital One is today.
