Jupiter reorganises investment team

By 3p Contributor

Environmental and sustainable investment specialist Jupiter is changing the organisational structure of its Environmental and Sustainable Strategy team to provide an enhanced central source of information and expertise for the benefit of the wider fund management team.

The reorganisation will see more focused roles and new job titles for sustainability analysts Mark Evans and Jon Wallace.Evans will become sustainability investment analyst, focusing on sustainability issues and opportunities across Jupiter’s broader investment range. He will also ensure Jupiter’s participation in global initiatives such as the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment.

Wallace will now take on the role of Environmental and Responsible Investment Analyst. He will work closely with fund managers Charlie Thomas, Chris Watt and Abbie Llewellyn-Waters on Jupiter’s Environmental and Responsible Funds. He will provide investment analysis which will range from in-depth company research to providing analysis on sectors, countries and themes as they relate to the investment strategies.

The Corporate Governance team will also be renamed Governance Research. Ashish Ray has been appointed as Governance Research Manager.

And in a further step underlining Jupiter’s commitment to company engagement, Jupiter vice chairman Edward Bonham Carter has been appointed to the board of The Investor Forum.
