Nathan Fabian leaves IGCC for PRI

By Super Admin

The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) has named Nathan Fabian as Director of Policy. He will take up his new role on 30 June 2015.

Fabian joins the PRI after six years as ceo of the Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC), an institutional investor association on climate policy and investment, which encourages government policies and investment practices that address the risks and opportunities of climate change.

Previous to this role, he spent two and a half years as head of ESG research at Regnan, a leading provider of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) research and engagement.

He has also worked as a senior consultant for Arthur Andersen and as a market analyst at Krone, a German-based telecommunications company and as a corporate governance policy advisor to Senator Penny Wong of Australia.

Based in London, Fabian will be responsible for further developing and implementing the PRI’s policy work stream, supporting signatories to identify and overcome barriers that currently prevent financial markets from functioning more sustainably. He will report to the PRI’s md Fiona Reynolds.
